Canadian housing bubble 2022

Jay Coupar talks about the Canadian housing bubble. We have all seen housing prices go up this year by 20% if not more. He talks about Toronto and Vancouver for an average income family of $85.000 can not afford the cost of housing in these major cities. Although he said that are housing prices in smaller cities are quite affordable at around $350 000 and are valued around the average blue-collar worker. This is very good compared to countries.

The cities that have topped the list this year are in no way correlated with average incomes.

  1. Munich
  2. Frankfurt
  3. Toronto
  4. Hong Kong
  5. Paris
  6. Amsterdam
  7. Zurich
  8. London
  9. Singapore

When looking for a house remember the top big cities are for larger-scale incomes and will never come down in price. The good news for the average earner is you can find more affordable housing in more rural areas. Leaving room to buy your home for each income class.
